Gibson extends top-selling dinnerware design to cookware

NEW YORK —Gibson Homewares is building on the success of its SoHo Lounge franchise with a new cookware set aimed at mid-level retailers.

The Soho Lounge Diamond 10pc Ceramic Nonstick Aluminum Cookware Set has a distinctive “soft square” shape which the company says provides 25% more cooking area than traditional round pans, with corners that make it easier to pour. The set is composed of durable, heavy-gauge aluminum that heats food evenly, while the soft-touch bakelite handles stay cool while cooking. It has a diamond-infused ceramic finish and comes in either black or blue. And retails for a suggested $189.99. It ships in the third quarter.

The SoHo Lounge brand is a best-seller on Amazon, according to Gibson.

“Soho Lounge helped put Gibson on the map as a place to go for contemporary style,” said SVP of Marketing and Licensing David Nicklin. The soft square shape has long defined Gibson’s bestselling Soho Lounge dinnerware.
