Inside Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s Real Estate Portfolio

Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber have called many places “home” over the years, infusing their properties with an elegant aesthetic. Crawford told AD, in 2019, that her passion for stunning interiors largely stems from her childhood and carried over into her adult life. “As a model, you’re traveling all the time, so your home is like your little cocoon and sanctuary,” she said.

As such, each of the properties that she and Gerber have purchased together have served this purpose for the two of them and their kids, Presley and Kaia. “I’m about comfort and the way things feel,” Crawford told AD. “My husband would sacrifice functionality for the look, and I wouldn’t. I think that’s my practical mom brain…When my kids were little, I was like, ‘Can a kid throw up on this?’ It had to pass that test.” Below, we’ve rounded up some of the couple’s poshest residences, all of which are located throughout the continental U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

1990s

One of the first houses that Crawford and Gerber purchased together after they wed in 1998 was a $1.85 million home in Malibu. The Spanish-style property, situated right at the edge of the Pacific Ocean, offered unparalleled views and pristine, airy interiors that opened out onto a glass-railed deck. The residence measured 2,412 square feet, with four bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. The couple put the home on the market, in 2019, for $7.495 million, and nearly one year later, a buyer put down $6.5 million for the trophy property. Once the COVID-19 pandemic hit, however, the buyer had to back out of the purchase, and Crawford and Gerber graciously canceled the sale and even refunded the deposit, telling the would-be buyer that everyone was “in this together.” It is unclear if the property was sold after that.
